All orders are custom made individually. For this reason, we do not accept returns for change of mind, spelling mistakes, or incorrect size or colour choices.

We’ll do our best to accommodate your request before your order is shipped, however, amendment fees may apply.
Our blankets are produced to the highest quality and go through several quality checks throughout production. However, if you receive a blanket that is faulty or damaged in transit, we will happily replace or exchange it.
How to Request a Replacement for a Faulty or Damaged Item
- Notify us within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Email our customer service team at hello@threadtheword.com with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the blanket and packaging showing the damage or fault
- Once approved, we will issue a pre-paid return label.
- Package the blanket securely and attach the return label.
- Post the item to the following address:

Australia - Once the return is received and inspected, we will dispatch your replacement or process an exchange within 5–7 business days.
Please note: Returns without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
